About The Center
Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing.
Established in 2013, the Mindfulness Practice Center of Ft. Walton Beach (MPC) offers Mindfulness and Meditation workshops, practices and tools that are empowering, relevant to the realities of day-to-day life and lead to personal transformation.
The MPC community practices in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, a living Vietnamese Zen master, Buddhist scholar, peace and human rights activist, and poet. Our facilitator Kabe Woods was Ordained into the Order of Interbeing by Thich Nhat Hahn in 2013.
We are located in the Eglin Office Park at
11 Eglin Parkway S.E. Suite #10 in Ft. Walton Beach.
We are on the back side of the shopping center
on Chestnut street. We are just south of the corner
of Hollywood and Chestnut.
All practice sessions are offered on a love offering basis. Cushions. chairs and benches provided. Bring your own cushion if you would like.
